Allah (SWT) has made mankind (human being) as the superior, most intelligent and gifted species among all the creatures (living things). When Allah (SWT) decided to make this superior species i.e. human being as his representative on the earth, HE addressed to angels,
Behold, thy Lord said to the angles, " I will create A vicegerent on earth"
( Juz 2, Sura Number 2, Ayat Number 30)By this decision, Allah (SWT) has gifted human being with some of his qualities. Allah (SWT) Himself is very KIND and MERCIFUL hence He implanted some part of His qualities also in the human being, for example, forgiveness, kindness and mercy on others. Allah (SWT) posses the Power and Ability to provide food and all essentials to all living things, hence He also gave the ability and skills to the human being to earn the food and other essentials for their families and loved ones. For example, in the form of father, man earns money and buys the food and other essentials for himself and his family. Allah (SWT) has the great quality of Justice hence has given the element of this ability also to the human being. Allah (SWT) is the ultimate power in the universe. He (SWT) also implanted the anger in the human being.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said,On this proposal (of making human being as His Calipah on earth) angels replied to Allah (SWT),"No doubt, Allah (SWT) has created Adam based on His basic elements and qualities." It is clear from above that, even though Allah (SWT) gave part of HIS basic elements / qualities to human being and made human being as the superior and best species on the earth but at the same time kept the element of evil in the human being. On top of this, He implanted Nafs (One's inner self / ego) and satan with human being. The satan also vowed to destroy the good qualities of human being with all his bad behavior till ultimately the human beings are put in the Hell after the Day of Judgment. These two further give encouragement to the element of bad behavior in human being and push him towards bad behavior and injustice. Allah (SWT) has gifted us with innumerable favors and blessings. Moreover to help ourselves clean from the evil elements and protect us from the influence and trap of our nafs and satan, HE (SWT) sent several Holy purified people among mankind to this earth. These high quality people are known as Prophets and friends of Allah (SWT), messengers of Allah (SWT).They said : " wilt Thou place therein one who will make Mischief therein and shed blood"
( Juz 2, Sura Number 2, Ayat Number 30)
From the beginning of this world and creation of human being, till the arrival of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH), Allah (SWT) sent several of His Messengers and Prophets in every country, civilization, etc., from time to time depending on the need. Approximately, 124,000 Prophets and Messengers were sent to the earth. These spiritual people saved human race from violence and wrong path and directed them towards their creator 'Allah' (SWT).Our bodies need food and nutrition on a regular basis for survival, similarly our soul needs spiritual food. Spiritual food / nutrition leads to peace and satisfaction (fulfillment). Religion, prayers, meditations, etc., are the means of providing such 'spiritual nutrition' to us. Body is composed of skeleton and various organs, however the real center of life is the soul. Similarly, religions, prayers, etc., represents the general practice or customs but the actual thing is the spiritual fulfillment. Common people tend to focus on religious customs and practices, celebrations, etc., however the gifted ones among them in addition to this, work hard through self discipline / control, educate to control 'nafs' to get closer to Allah (SWT) and also teach other people and guide them on this path. Not all of these holy / spiritual people are Prophets and Messengers of Allah (SWT) but are definitely the Calipah of Prophets. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH) is the last Prophet to arrive on earth. After His , Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH) arrival, Allah (SWT)) stopped sending anymore Prophets or Messengers to the earth. The 'Shariyat' (Islamic guidelines) brought by Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH) has been made compulsory for all human being. Allah (SWT) also made obedience of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH)) as a means of loving Allah (SWT) and getting closer to Him as Allah (SWT) has mentioned in the Holy Quran,
Say : " If ye do love Allah, follow me : Allah will love you
(J 3, Sura Number 3, Ayat Number 31)
One thing is clear from the above, that is, the only way to love Allah (SWT) is to follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH).
Creator and Creation :
Every soul is a creation of Allah (SWT), as He has mentioned in the Holy Quran,
"The spirit is of the command of my Lord"
( Juz 15, Sura 17, Ayat 85)
It is very important to understand that the "command" is always linked (attracted) towards its Master. All living creations have this property, specially human being, whose existence (life) depends on presence of soul. Allah (SWT) didn't make any soul as Muslims, (believers) and non - believers in this world. Each and every soul is a order of Allah (SWT), which is pure. There is no way that HIS (SWT) order could be non believer. It is not possible. We cannot suspect HIS (SWT) creation, but since the world is based on good and bad, and man himself is composed of good and bad elements, hence the adverse conditions and surroundings, impacts and influence, and tries to mold the human being into themselves. On one side the order (soul) is eager and longing to return towards its Creator (Allah (SWT)), on the other hand , our worldly needs / temptations make us run towards them. These things create barrier in meeting the creation with the Creator. Every soul, is eager to return to its Creator, however worldly needs / attractions and temptations, slavery of the nafs, distractions from satan all are creating barriers in the ideal path of Soul meeting its Master.Sufis :
The holy people who remove all these barriers (as mentioned above) and bring the human being closer to the creator Allah (SWT) are called as Sufis. Sufis focus and concentrate towards Allah (SWT), the Ultimate Lord and through their love, affection and sacrifice, attract Allah's (SWT) attention toward themselves. Indeed, these are the holy people who really satisfy the thirst of human being in the real sense and achieve satisfaction. In their company one can get real love, affection and real peace. Even though this world has acquired all luxuries but still one could not get the real peace. This is because the human being is running after things which are not everlasting and they try to get peace from such non lasting things. When these things go away then they have to face great pain and uneasiness due to the loss of such non lasting thing. However, holy sufis sacrifice all the luxuries of life and worldly affair, and focus on everlasting Lord through their love and affection. They take shelter with the Lord who is the Creator of real peace and satisfaction. Hence, whenever a disturbed and uneasy person takes shelter with sufis, he also gets the impact of similar love and satisfaction. The disturbed and uneasy person feels achieving peace and it appears that his thirst of getting closer to Allah (SWT) is also satisfied. He also tends to sacrifice all the worldly things and achieves real peace and satisfaction. These holy personalities are present in this world to carry out the teachings of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH) and bringing the human being closer to Allah (SWT) and will be present till the end of this world. When they will not be present in this world, the world will also end. This is not a new group of people or division which needs any introduction. But be careful, the world also contains adulteration and imitations. Please be careful, O' seekers of peace and satisfaction. You need to really differentiate between the real verses and imitations, otherwise you may end up losing everything and may not have place anywhere.
History of Silsila Shahiya Asrariya :
One of such holy sufis, is our guide Hazrath Sayed Abdulbhari Shah (RH), who was born in Bengal, India. He achieved real peace and satisfaction through his hard work, sacrifice and love of Allah (SWT). Through his hard work, he literally enlightened the path of love for Allah (SWT), for his followers (Murids). By adopting his teachings, Insha Allah, till the 'Day of Judgment'' one can walk safely without being diverted or lost on the path of the love to Allah (SWT). Before leaving this world, he assigned this responsibility of guiding the people towards the love of Allah (SWT), to his beloved and follower, Student Sayed Hamid Hasan Alwi (RH). In the company of this holy personality, many thirsty people achieved the satisfaction. Thousands of restless souls found peace and satisfaction, in his company and directed themselves towards the path of Allah (SWT). Whoever came in his company achieved the peace and satisfaction. This holy personality lived in a small village called Kohnda, in Azamgarh district of UP India. Till the end of his life, he devoted himself to the service of human being, and before leaving this world assigned this responsibility to his beloved, follower Hazrath Maulana Saeed Khan Saheb (RH). This devoted person spread the teaching throughout the world. Innumerable people who were seeking the love of Allah (SWT), benefited from the teachings and work of Hazrath Maulana Saeed Khan Saheb. However, whoever comes in this world has to leave, whether he is successful or not. This holy person also left this world, on 30th Jan, 1976. Before leaving this world, he assigned the treasure of his teachings to His beloved student and follower, Hazrath Maulana Asrarul Haq Khan Saheb (RH). This holy person spread these teachings, throughout Asia and Europe, and extended it to the rest of the world. Millions of thirsty, restless, uneasy and anxious souls could get rid of their sufferings (restlessness, uneasiness, anxiety etc.) and could achieve peace, calm and tranquility. Innumerable seekers of the love of Allah (SWT) rushed and leaped on the call of Silsila like a moth leaping towards lighted candle. Whoever came was successful, elevated and successful beyond their expectations and imaginations.
The extent of salvation and bounty was so great that people had to admit and acknowledge their limitation to accommodate these rewards and also confessed to their petty mindedness.Hazrath Maulana Asrarul Haq Khan Saheb (RH) conveyed with full zeal and enthusiasm to the entire world the message of 'love and affection of Allah (SWT) ' who is the factual (real) Lord of all of us and the Creator of the universe. He disclosed the secret of the 'overwhelming mastery' of spirituality over materialism, money / wealth orientations. He showed and enlighten the achievement through the path of Heart (Qalb) and its astonishing marvelous and wonders compared to brian and its power and thus explained the dominance of Heart (Qalb) over brain. He also explained the secret of primary objective of the creation of humanity which is to 'acquire mystic knowledge of Allah (SWT) and reach to its highest form of mystical experience'. similarly, he explained the fact that the unquestionable love of Allah (SWT) is the best medicine for cure from any form of psychological and / or moral, ethical illness.
One's baser (inner) self (inordinate appetites) which is present in the heart (innermost part) of all human beings; distracts and prevents us from the devotion to Allah (SWT) by making us focus and occupied in the wordily matters such as selfishness, egoism, fulfillment of our wordily wishes and desires of the inner self. The inner self through its obedience and devotion to himself only keeps us engage in the above mentioned activities which takes us away from the worship and obedience of our real lord i.e. Allah (SWT) . He also warned us about the various manipulations of our inner self such as mischief's, temptations, fraud, deceptions and seductions. He also emphasized that as long as human beings continue to have the elements of selfishness, materialism and devotion to the inner self, actual devotion and worship of Allah (SWT) is impossible.
Hazrath Maulana Asrarul Haq Khan Saheb (RH) had excellent command and gifted with unique skills (expertise) in the purification and analyses of one's inner self i.e. nafs and thereby was able to reform the human being. In fact, he was the best in the world during his time in the art of purification and analyses of one's inner self.
Typically, the educational institutions and training / development centers are named after its closest founder / guide, similarly this spiritual Silsila has been named after its nearest guide Hazrath Murshadna-w-Maulana Asararul Haq Khan Shaeb (RH), and its previous guide Hazrath Syed Abdul Bhari Sha (RH) and hence the Silsila is known as Silsila Shahiya Asrariya.
The history of this Silsila and how this noble treasure of spiritual knowledge and blessings has reached us through the chain of various great nobles of spirituality is available separately in a book format i.e. Shjrah.
