Alhaj Shah Ahsan-ul-haq Khan Saheb was born in 1970, in the city Azamgarh, of Utter Pradesh State of India. From the early childhood itself, he was in the company and under the  influence of great nobles and scholars of spirituality. Among these nobles was also his mother, who herself was an Waliya and Hafiza of the holy Quran. At the age of 2½, his mother left this world, as a result he was under the care of his maternal grandfather Alhaj Alhafeez Hazrath Maulana Mohamed Saeed Khan Saheb (RH). When the maternal grandfather also left this world on 30^th Jan 1976, then he came under the care of his elder brother Alhaj Maulana Asrarul Haq Khan Saheb (RH). Under the able guidance of his elder brother, Alhaaj Shah Ahsan-ul-Haq Khan Saheb reached the high position in spirituality.

From 1976 to 1997, for 21 years, he was in close company (association) of the Imam-e-Zamana Alhaj Maulana Asrarul Haque Khan Saheb. He was benefited from these gatherings and close contact with the Imam. He was always gifted with the opportunity to serve the Imam-e-Zamana, as well as, to be his companion in the Tabliqh journeys. Due to such closeness to the Imam,  rightly so, he was able to closely observe , study and master the rituals, manners, ethics of the Imam-e-Zamana in the worldly affairs, as well as, in the religious field. Shaikh-al-Tariquat also used to pay close attention in his spiritual development. In the course of continuous on going company of the Shaikh-al-Tariquat, that auspicious moment also came, when he was gifted with formal 'bayat'. Due to his intrinsic qualities, he followed the routines and practices of the Shaikh-al Tariquat very closely. Namaz, recitation, Zikar, Duwa, meeting / gatherings, in fact in every action and duties he followed the same style (way) as that of Shaikh-al-Tariquat.

By the grace of Allah (SWT), he is fully capable and competent of fulfilling the duties as the  Guide of the Silsila. He also posses all the qualities and capabilities needed to lead the Silsila. As per the rule of Allah (SWT), when Shaikh-al- Tariquat left this world on 20^th March1997, then he became fully active to fulfill the duties and guide the Silsila. With his superior spirituality, character, ethics and manners he is completely busy in the services to the mankind.

In the field of worldly education, he completed initial education from the Shibli National Inter College and then BA and MA, in Sociology, from the Shibli National Post Graduate college. He completed his Ph.D. from Purvanchal University of Jaunpur.
